Wine enthusiast/website writer-editor —

Hello, my name is Craig, I'm in my early 50's and from Cardiff, the capital of Wales and the greatest city in the world. I'm married to my amazing wife of over twenty-three years and we have an incredible daughter, she's my only child and currently, she's in her third year in the university, studying Law. I'm certainly a wine enthusiast, as a businessman, traveling all over the world and seeing different cultures, I've been able to acquire different kinds of wines. I believe the wine is a true reflection of the culture of the people, if they like good wine, they are good people, if they like bad wine, well you get what I mean... I'm retired from business; spend more time at home now as an investor and a contributing writer to various business blogs. I also lend my knowledge about the wine industry which I dabbled in and traded for about ten years. My goal is to make good investments, work less and play more and provide for my family, giving them the best life has to offer and the opportunity for them to taste the best wines out there. I'm also building a state of the art underground wine cellar at home, just because I can.

Cigar Enthusiast/Lead writer I'm David, grew up in Alabama, Texas.

Have a degree in Computer Engineering, from the University of Texas at Arlington. I'm definitely outgoing and outdoorsy, and not afraid to try different things that are outside of my comfort zone. I work in the oil industry as an independent geoscience engineer, it's just as boring as it sounds, but it has always been great money. I love cigars, maybe a little too much, me and the boys after work would sit on the office balcony with a nice glass of brandy and just puff away into the night, it has always been the highlight of my career. Good day, a bad day it just didn't matter. It was like our own little 30 minutes of Mad-Men and l was Don Draper. I collect different types of cigars, l was always the “flavor” in the group, they called me Flavor-Dave, which I liked and kept as a nickname for about twenty years now. I also write about cigars and fine selections in a couple of online journals, it's my way of giving back to society, I'm so good that they made me a lead writer for this column. For now, I'm taking every single day as it comes, enjoying the moment and not really thinking about the worries of the future, I live in the present and try to do what I can to help my family, my boys and try to make the world a better place.

A retired wine connoisseur/contributing writer-special reports

Hello, my name is Charles Ferdinand, I'm from the city of Manchester. I'm Seventy-three years of age, married for 50 years with two children and four grandchildren. I had a successful career as a General Manager for Supercenter stores. I traveled all over the world opening franchises, visiting suppliers and trying to expand the business. I've done business in over 15 countries across four continents. I've also attended over 100 wine tasting parties. I'm an expert when it comes to wine, and I know how to get a party going with little-embellished facts here or there. I've written two books on the subject and they are available on Amazon for purchase. I contribute special reports to various blogs on the subject, teach a few online courses and try to spend the rest of my life contributing as much as I can to the subject.
